This list includes our electronic resources, subscriptions and authoritative websites. These resources are available to all University City Public Library card holders and are accessible from home, work or in the library. Please enter your UCPL card number (without spaces) when prompted.

Books       Hoopla Hoopla provides access to e-books, downloadable audiobooks, music, and movies. Hoopla is limited to University City residents.
  LibriVox LibriVox provides free access to public domain audiobooks.
  NoveList Plus NoveList Plus provides book summaries, reviews, recommendations, and more. Accessible using your UCPL card.
  Overdrive (Libby) Libby and Overdrive allow you to checkout downloadable ebooks and audiobooks to read on your portable device through an app. Accessible using your UCPL card.
  Tumble Book Library TumbleBook Library provides access to free ebooks for kids. Accessible using your UCPL card.

WorldCat provides a link to library catalogs around the world, and can be used to search for interlibrary loan items. Interlibrary loan is limited to University City residents, who may request up to five items at a time.

  Legal Services of Eastern Missouri - Community Economic Development Program The Community Economic Development Program provides free civil legal assistance to eligible entrepreneurs, small businesses, and non-profit organizations.
  Reference Solutions Reference Solutions (formerly Reference USA) offers a comprehensive directory of U.S. residents and businesses, as well as additional information about business economics. Accessible using your UCPL card.
  St. Louis SCORE Score provides free mentoring and education to entrepreneurs and small business owners.

  GCF Learn Free GCF Learn Free offers free access to tutorials and videos on a variety of basic computer, workplace, reading, and math skills.
  Learning Express Library Learning Express Library provides access to test preparation resources for a variety of educational and occupational tests, including HiSET (formerly GED). Accessible using your UCPL card.
  LinkedIn Learning (formerly Lynda.com) LinkedIn Learning (formerly Lynda.com) provides free access to thousands of online classes and video tutorials about a wide range of tech topics. Accessible using your UCPL card.

Genealogy   Heritage Quest Online Heritage Quest Online provides free access to genealogical resources including U.S. and Canadian historical censuses, Freedman’s records, and U.S. Indian census rolls.
  Missouri Bureau of Vital Records The Missouri Bureau of Vital Records provides a central registry for all Missouri births, deaths, marriages, and divorces. Certificates may be requested through the office, though there may be fees involved.
  Missouri Digital Heritage Missouri Digital Heritage provides free access to more than 9 million historical records kept by the Missouri State Historical Society, State Library, State Archives, and other agencies.
