Thinking Money Opening Reception
Tuesday, May 23 from 6-8 p.m.; artist talk at 7 p.m.

Join us for an opening reception for Thinking Money, an interactive family-friendly exhibition focused on financial literacy, and Thinking Money: Piggy Banks, a portrait series featuring UCPL friends, family and patrons, by local photographer Kristi Foster. Foster will discuss her project in an artist talk at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to all.

Thinking Money is funded by a grant from the American Library Association and the FINRA Investor Education Foundation. Both exhibits will be on display in The Gallery through June 24.

Talking to Your Kids About Money
Wednesday, May 31 at 6 p.m. in the auditorium
Parents and caregivers of young children are invited to attend this moderated discussion focusing on how to introduce the ideas of saving money and making a budget to their children. Meanwhile, their children will participate in a story time focused on saving, and each child will go home with a book of their own! This program is presented by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis in conjunction with the Thinking Money exhibition in the Gallery.

The program is free and open to all, though registration is required.

Thinking Money is funded by a grant from the American Library Association and the FINRA Investor Education Foundation.
